Terms

Last changed October 22, 2026

These are the terms for using Pretecture, the website and studio for planning homes, run by Lukata Solutions. When they say we or us, that's who they mean. Using Pretecture means you agree to them. They're written to be read, so please do.

Who can use it

You need to be 13 or older to use Pretecture. To make an account or buy anything, you need to be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

What Pretecture makes

Pretecture makes concept plans for planning a home and talking it through. They aren't construction drawings or permit drawings.
  • Pretecture can't tell which walls hold a house up. Before moving or taking out any wall, have a qualified professional check it.
  • It doesn't check building codes or regulations. Warnings about furniture and doors are a nudge, not a code check.
  • Plans are only as exact as what's drawn. Traced plans and typed sizes can be off. Check every size on site before ordering, building or demolishing anything.

Your projects are yours

You own what you make. When you keep a project in your account, share it by link or download paid sheets, you let us store and process it only to do that for you.
Only trace pictures and plans you have the right to use. Pictures you trace stay in your browser and never reach us.
Don't use Pretecture to break the law, to get at other people's data, or to overload or attack the service. We can switch off share links or accounts that do.

The service

We work to keep Pretecture running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep backup files of projects that matter to you.
We may change or stop features. We'll tell you on the site before we stop anything you've paid for.
Free accounts keep one project. We may delete accounts that haven't been used for two years, after emailing first.

Responsibility

Pretecture is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from relying on a plan, including building, buying or renovating decisions. Where we are responsible, it's limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Some places don't allow these limits, and nothing here takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Which law applies

California law governs these terms, apart from its rules on which law applies. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in California, except that either of us can take a claim to small claims court where it qualifies. Nothing here takes away the protection the law where you live gives you as a consumer.

Changes and contact

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so on the site before the change takes effect.
Questions go to hello@pretecture.com. So do notices that something shared through Pretecture uses your work without permission, and we'll look into each one.
